Handing over methods for visually impaired persons’ rehabilitation, materialized already in the region of Northern Hungary, to the partners from abroad

The overall objective of the joint action is to transfer, hand over the Ukrainian and Romanian partners, methods for visually impaired persons’ rehabilitation, materialized already in the region where the Applicant organization is activating. Specific objectives: Training the experts methods and techniques of working with, supporting visually impaired persons, methods that have already been applied by the Applicant with positive outcomes, Training directly visually impaired participants in camps, Training and handing over guide dogs to blind persons in the action areas. Main activities: Project management; Training experts working with visually impaired persons; Organizing camps for visually impaired persons assisted by trainers and experts; Training and handing over guide dogs; Project publicity.

20 trained experts; at least 21 visually impaired persons participating to the camps; 4 camps organized for experts and visually impaired persons; 3 street forums organized for the public; 6 guide dogs trained and handed over to 6 blind persons; 1 web page; 1 publication published in 700 copies, in 3 languages, a total of 2100 copies.
